Description
The Toyota 2ZZ-GE is a high-performance 1.8-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine from Toyota’s ZZ engine family. It was developed with Yamaha Motor Corporation and designed specifically for high-RPM performance. Unlike the economy-focused 1ZZ-FE, the 2ZZ-GE uses Toyota’s VVTL-i (Variable Valve Timing and Lift-intelligent) system, allowing the engine to switch to a more aggressive cam profile at higher engine speeds.
