Description
The Toyota 2UZ-FE is a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated petrol V8 from Toyota’s legendary UZ engine family. It was developed specifically for applications requiring high durability and strong low-speed torque, particularly Land Cruiser and Lexus LX SUVs.
Unlike the 1UZ-FE and 3UZ-FE, the 2UZ-FE uses a cast-iron engine block, making it particularly robust for heavy-duty 4WD, towing and off-road applications.
The 2UZ-FE is Toyota’s 4.7L V8 gasoline engine designed for high torque and durability.
It is particularly associated with:
- Toyota Land Cruiser
- Lexus LX 470
- Toyota Tundra
- Toyota Sequoia
- Toyota 4Runner
- Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series in certain markets
The engine’s cast-iron block distinguishes it from the aluminum-block 1UZ-FE and 3UZ-FE and makes the 2UZ-FE especially suited to heavy-duty applications.
