Description
The Toyota 1KD-FTV is a 2,982 cc (3.0-liter) turbocharged diesel engine from Toyota’s KD engine family. It is a 4-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, common-rail direct-injection diesel developed as a successor to the 1KZ-TE. Toyota introduced it in the Land Cruiser Prado in 2000, and it was subsequently used in vehicles such as the Hilux, HiAce, Hilux Surf/4Runner and other Toyota applications.
